Tigh-an-Uillt is a modern bungalow situated on the shores of Loch Goil on the edge of the Argyll Forest Park, a mile from Carrick Castle. Loch views are breathtaking from the two double bedrooms and the living/dining area. 

Tigh-an-Uillt’s primary appeal is the peace and beauty the area offers, but there is also more than enough in the local area to keep an active family busy during their holiday.

For those looking for activities other than walking there is also a 9-hole golf course, swimming pool, ice skating, pony trekking, boat hire, fishing tackle hire/purchase, indoor bowling, curling (in season), restaurants and pubs all within the glen.

Day trips by car from Loch Goil can take in stunning Glen Coe, Oban - the gateway to the Isles, the architecturally distinguished town of Inveraray with its historic museum jail and fairytale castle, and the lovely fishing harbours of Tarbet and Crinan.

The accommodation:

3+1 bedrooms comprising 2 doubles, 1 twin ( with cot), and double futon and single bed in the study.

The lounge/dining area has beautiful Loch views and comfortable sofas. There is a TV with FreeSAT channels, DVD player and CD/cassette player. The dining area has a family sized dining table which seats 6.

The  kitchen is well equipped with a new electric oven, 4 ring electric hob, fridge, freezer, lots of storage space, and a washing machine and tumble dryer.

The study has a single bed as well as a futon sofa which can be folded out to make a double bed. There is also a  small desk and bookcase.

The main  bathroom has a shower over a bath with WC . There is also a second WC off the utility room
