Directions: From Glasgow, take the A82 following the side of Loch Lomond, to Tarbet. Then follow the A83, through Arrochar to the 'rest and be thankful'. Turn left toward Lochgoilhead and follow the road down to a give way sign. Turn left and follow the road for several miles until you come to a junction just before a bridge. Turn right here following signs for Carrick Castle. Follow the road for about 5 miles until you reach the village of Carrick Castle.

Tigh an Uillt is the first house that you come to after a series of 5 humps in the road.
